Overview of Services

ICHR’s growing family of websites are built on WordPress, a popular open source web publishing platform known for its focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability. WordPress’ flexibility and extensibility has allowed ICHR to offer a wide variety of up-to-date topical information to the circumpolar health community, both through original posts and rss feeds. The ICHR site has also established beach heads into today’s social internet environment by integrating Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and several Google Tools into its core outreach capacity. We invite you to join in the conversation!

As part of its research exchange and dissemination objectives, ICHR has built several portals and knowledge transfer sites for its research projects and affiliated organizations, including:

ICHR is also temporarily maintaining the Canadian Society for Circumpolar Health and International Union for Circumpolar Health websites until plans for each are finalized.

Web Services

To facilitate these efforts, ICHR has established a circumpolarhealth.org web hosting service powered by 100% certified green renewable energy sources through the purchase of green energy tags.
