Our receptionist/SERNNoCa research assistant, Diane Essery, was awarded a Canadian Heritage/Fine Arts Bursary from the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation for 2010/2011. The grant-in-aid will go to a Bachelor of Arts programme Diane is currently pursuing via distance education at Thompson Rivers University.
Diane has been with ICHR since last September as an AHRDA trainee and has made major strides in upgrading her office and research skills.
Congratulations Diane!
