She incorporates her knowledge of teaching and learning strategies with first-hand experience of being an Indigenous graduate student and traditional Indigenous values and knowledge to enhance the learning environment at the School of Public Health.
Specifically, she provides support to Inuvik-based students by providing seminars on distance learning strategies and I co-supervise graduate students who are applying traditional knowledge in their research, and community-based methods and knowledge translation through Indigenous governments and northern communities.
