Project Coordinator
Juniper is a Métis Denesuline born and raised in the Northwest Territories. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Global Resource Systems from the University of British Columbia and a Masters in Environmental Design from the University of Calgary. Her research interests include looking at the importance of land and environment for Indigenous community healing. She has worked in a variety of professional roles including Resource Management and Public Safety Specialist for Parks Canada, youth and family counsellor, canoe guide, environmental educator, professional facilitator, and health researcher. She is interested in how the fields of ecology, mental health, and education are intimately interrelated, and aims to integrate across disciplines for practical application in northern communities.
