The research program for emergency measures was informed by community-based consultations. Research built on priorities identified at Emergency Preparedness Roundtables, part of the Munk-Gordon Arctic Security Program that took place in 2013. Meetings with Government of Greenland representatives and international collaborators at the NunaMed conference in Nuuk, Greenland took place in September 2014. ICHR partnered on activities supporting youth engagement in the Munk-Gordon Arctic Security Program.
